Experiment #1: Computer Blender Model
Using blender to create a 3D model of a computer in a 10 min time limit.
Decisions Made by Randomized Generators:
Subject matter: Computer
Time limit: 10 min
Whether to add animation: No animation
Whether to add texture: No texture
Challenge:
Design a 3D model in blender with randomized conditions
My fellow designer, Yvette, and I tasked ourselves with dusting off out Blender skills from Uni and tried to design a random 3D model in a specified time limit.
We used randomized generators ((https://www.thewordfinder.com/random-object-generator/) and (https://wheelofnames.com/)) to make the decisions for us.
For this challenge, we thought this would be an entertaining way to dust off the old 3D animation skills and give us a chance to get refamiliarized with blender in a fun way.

Take Aways:
We realized very quickly how much of a refresher this actually was. It gave us a chance to remember the hotkeys, think through processes we used to have down by muscle memory. It gave us a chance to remember how to add text to a scene, use loop cuts, make edges sharp, etc.
Overall, we came to the conclusion that after a few more of these sessions we would be operating back at the same level we used to. So this was definitely a worthwhile exercise to bring back into our lives.
